This is a game that I feel has been criminally overlooked. I remember having my mind blown when I first played it, no only for the incredible graphics, but also by the truly unique and often innovative game play mechanics Prey offered up. The game also proved to be a new twist on an older formula, with the thoughtful and well handled inclusion of Native American plot points that tied intricately into the story-line, culturally relevant abilities, and characters that are well portrayed while avoiding stereotype. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this was also the first game to play with the concepts of zero gravity, wherein up/down/left/right/front/back are solely relevant to your position in space, and are not tied necessarily to where your feet are planted to the ground via gravity's pull. A truly fun, immersive experience that needs to be played to have it's revolutionary mechanics be fully understood.
