There is truly nothing like WildStar and ever since it died, there's nothing that could fill that void. Way too many games are still being kept alive that don't deserve it half as much as WildStar does. It needs to come back!Khaien

This was one of the coolest MMORPGs I played. I loved the humor and artstyle! I loved the story and music. The RP community was great and so were the events! I'd love to see this game thrive again under better management (aka not NCSoft). Wildstar had some of the best combat and housing systems in video games.

Oh man, talk about a game that would easily make me can my subs to literally every other online game... this one is the GOAT easy. Combat system was waaaay head of its time. It closed seven years ago, and gaming is just now catching up to it. Best housing, best dungeons, best raids, best... everything. Would do some crazy stuff to see this go live again. Crazy, crazy stuff.

Wildstar is still frequently spammed in the comments of any game/trailer that looks even remotely similar. We miss it so much, and though it would be a hurdle getting an MMO in this program, I think it would be a great flagship of GoG's program.
I've never played a game, let alone an MMORPG, that captivated me as much as WildStar did. Somehow every endgame system felt so high quality and endlessly fun due to the unique combat paired with amazing dungeons and raids. Even the PvP that I usually don't play in these types of games turned into something I've poured literally thousands of hours into. The housing system is still somehow vastly better than any other online RPG's housing, 11 years later. Due to its uniqueness and other factors, it wasn't for everyone. But for the people it was for, it was as close to a perfect game as it gets.
I couldn't play it during it's peak (my pc broke), would love to try it out with at least small, yet dedicated community. On paper it's sound exactly like my cup of tea, I'm sure a lot of people are the same.
I remember when I heard about Wildstar, it wasn’t until it was close to shutting down that I even knew about it. I was playing WoW at the time, and me and my brother hopped on Wildstar to try it out, thinking it would be bad if it was closing down. We had so much fun leveling and questing. A feeling we both agreed we hadn’t felt since we started playing WoW. We’ve played many MMOs out there, and none of them hit like Wildstar. The art, the action, the crazy announcer for kill streaks and combos and that rad level up graphic.. it was just a really good experience man and I would gladly pay to play it again or buy it or whatever.
It actually chokes me up to think about it again because I loved it so much. I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that it was my favorite video game ever. The combat was so fluid and fast paced with short global cool downs and limited action sets for abilities. The dungeons and raids were my absolute favorite in any MMO that I have ever and yet to play. Nothing quite scratches that itch to this day. The housing system has yet to be matched in my opinion. When it shut down the MMO world lost something so incredibly special in terms of housing development and design. Being able to resize, record, and position items to your hearts content made for some amazing creations and really highlighted player creativity. I loved the sense of humor in game too. It was quirky and cartoony and didn’t take itself too seriously, which was refreshing. I guarantee you if it was still around I’d still be playing it pretty much daily like I was. Most importantly, it was the first MMO that I played where I actually made friends in game with which eventually grew into some pretty strong friendships over the years. It was an absolutely beautiful, chaotic mess of a game and I cherish the time that I was able to spend in it - which according to steam was just north of 3000 hours. RIP Wildstar. We still talk about you.
Wildstar is my favorite MMO ever, next to Classic WoW. No other game had charm that gripped me in such a way and I mourn its loss like a close friend. Bring it back, many will play.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
