Still for me my favourite Dune game. Fun campaign and man I loved those air defence platforms! Sounds track I could, and did listen to for days as a time. I played this with a friend I was sharing a flat with at the time well into just about every night and saw the son come up more times than I would admit to because of this game.Terrorpin69

One of my starter Strats. so far ahead of its time, great single player system. The attack and deffend missions, calling in support. I would pay AAA prices for this run properly on modern systems.
One of my first dune game... Love it. One of my best friend did give it to me long time ago. The graphics is so awesome .. still good. The atreides chapmaing was the best.
this 3D game is most advanced game in its predecessor, even the C&C 3 was late in it development, with challenging 3 different sides to choose from, each side favor some air, land and even stealth technology to choose from which firepower is the best

The Greatest Soundtrack in Gaming History. David Arkenstone's Harkonnen soundtrack is literally life altering. The campaign is quite open in its decisions/storyline, and the FMV cutscenes deserve to be brought back.

I owned this back in the day, and played this as a break from Earth 2140 and 2150. Love the lore, and all in all it was a blast to play. Would snatch a working version of this on GOG in a heartbeat!
I love this game. I remember renting it at the library. I would play some Atriedis and then some Harkonnen. Occasionally I would play some Ordos as well. I didn't know the lore of the Dune Universe back then. All I knew was that spamming Cobra's and watching them melt buildings or using them as mobile defences, because Ordos long range base defences were bad was fun. The great convention missions on the Frigates were a fun change of pace. Sneakily taking out the other houses frigates while making sure your forces would reach Arrakis was super cool. I loved how even Atriedis took the opportunity to sabotage their rivals in those missions. While totally understandable I always thought. Ohh not so perfect and valiant are we House Atriedis. I remember that I wanted the game so bad I bought it even thought I didn't have the computer to run it. Fortunately as the youngest of three, I had a perfectly valid and brilliant strategy at the time to fix that problem. Badger my oldest brother to let me install and play it on his computer. Before you judge he got to play it as well, on his computer but still. Generous young me. There are so many fun memories. For example ordering units at the Starport even at higher place because young thought the units arriving at the Starport was so cool. The homeworld invasion missions were really cool. It gave me an into the Lions den vibe (or snitches den I imagine if you invaded Caladan with the Harkonnen). I remember thinking how is this possible to do without any spice, until I would realize that noble Giedi Prime was funding me to enact judgement on them. I still have the disks. Every time I put them in with Windows 11 and 10 just did nothing. To end this on a happy not let me share some of my favorite quotes: "Watch for Wormsign as your units cross the sand commander". "Reinforcements are approaching, reinforcements have arrived". "Special delivery". "Chop Chop". "Cutting lose" "T minus 5 T minus 4 T minus 3 T minus 2 T minus 1.

Fantastic RTS, better than the early C&C versions at the time. Played this with my son when he was much younger and just getting into gaming. Would love to replay it again. Great soundtrack, great factions and plot. With the film adaptation of Dune increasing knowledge of the franchise, this would be a great time to make this gem available. A must play for any RTS fan. It must return, the spice must flow. FOR THE DUKE!
it was one of those games, the ones where you get home from school, switch on the PC and felt like you were fighting for the noble houses. The sweet sound track and graphics, the story and missions were ALL top tier, and that is why I want it back.
This title managed to capture the feel of Dune very well for a game and at the same time it is a very good RTS. It had the charm and gameplay that kept me playing, there was strategy, political schemes, treasons, unexpected alliances, and much more than I expected from a game back then.
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Dune
DuneDune is a 1992 video game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name. Developed by Cryo Interactive, is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune blended adventure with economic and military strategy, and is considered by many the most immersive Dune computer game. Loosely following the story of the novel, the game casts the player as Paul Atreides, with the ultimate goal of driving the Harkonnen from Planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military, and later, ecology through the native Fremen tribes. As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.
