I have been playing "Emperor: Battle for Dune" over the last week or so after having kept the game on my radar for a long time and it absolutely lives up to expectations: it's at least an excellent game, one of the best RTS titles at the time of its release, AND it's based on Dune! What more can you want? To see it legally available on GOG? Sure but good luck overcoming the epic licensing issues - still, you brought back "Blade Runner", so there is hope! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go back and play some more... the Spice must flow!

The absolute best soundtrack in any RTS I have ever played, hands down, still listen to it from time to time. The gameplay did not lag far behind either, the campaign was thrilling and challenging, no matter which house you picked. Just add widescreen support pls, other than that no changes necessary.
This is a game I'd give a choice of vital organs to play. As it is, the only way to make it work is to use a third party program that copies the disc contents into a digital version but its not perfect. I'd pay good money to get this official.

It was the first 3D game of Dune universe and Westwood done an amazing job for creating an Arrakis Planet in 3D. AI is also better than the previous games. All and all this was the best strategy game of Dune universe.
Widescreen support and I will insta buy it... But if it doesn't have it, there's still a solution on YouTube...
By far one of the finest RTS games I first played along with TA which I still play and adore to this day. A phenomenal introduction, swiftly folllowed by BFME II and Tiberian Sun. Unfortunately modern Strategy games have been disappointing and have never really produced the highs that these classics did. Fedaykin Ready! Soundtrack was phenomenal and the unit variation was brilliant. The balance across the factions was very well done and the graphics of the time were excellent, they would still hold up today. Only downside was the installation process but all 3 discs would have to be included to get the best out of this game. Add all map packs for the skirmish players and you're onto a winner, who knows multiplayer could be restarted? The campaign mode was thoroughly enjoyable. I want this to be a GoG release as I'd rather give my money to GoG rather than any other platform if they were beaten to a release. Resurrect it guys, bring it back!

It would be sooooo cool if they make campaign maps available for skirmish and multiplayer, they just feel so alive and sometimes even epic. Tried to play with my brother recently and didn't make it to actually work, and then I see this page and the number of people who also want to preserve this masterpiece. Truly amazing
A 3D westwood Dune RTS, with full motion cutscenes and a great soundtrack composed by 3 different composers for each of the 3 distinct houses. What's not to love about that?
A good sequel for the first RTS game I played in my life, Dune II. I played it a long time ago, but have since look to buy it for myself with no positive results. I would love to have it in GOG.
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Dune
DuneDune is a 1992 video game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name. Developed by Cryo Interactive, is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune blended adventure with economic and military strategy, and is considered by many the most immersive Dune computer game. Loosely following the story of the novel, the game casts the player as Paul Atreides, with the ultimate goal of driving the Harkonnen from Planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military, and later, ecology through the native Fremen tribes. As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.
