Hello Everyone, I wanted to do another giveaway attached to the GOG 18th Anniversary. I have some time now to host a giveaway, I may not have the time in the future so might as well do it one now. I had to work out the logic for this one so it took a while to make this thread. I made another giveaway for the
GOG 18th Anniversary Start Date Giveaway (due to some recent information I saw, I think I have an idea of when it will start), however this giveaway will be ran a bit differently. Hopefully my guess on when GOG 18th Anniversary will start is going to be somewhat accurate. If it starts in December 2026 then It will make it harder for me to run this giveaway.
This Giveaway will run for the duration of GOG 18th Anniversary. I will giveaway 1 copy of the main game(s) release for each day (if applicable). For example if RE4 is release on DAY 1 then the winner will get that game. I may end up giving away 14+ games or less depending if a game release every day and the event duration itself. If no one guess the game release correctly or there is no game release for a particular day then there will be no winner. I don't know how many games I will be giving away but I have factor that in my budget.
Note: If a contestant wins a game for a particular day, they would not be able to enter for other days to allow other contestants more chances to win as well.
General Requirement To Enter Giveaway: 1) Have an account before Oct 2026
2) If participating Do Not Edit your entry's post that contain the guesses.
3) Have your GOG Private Message set to Public. This is how I would contact and give the winner their game.
4) Make sure to redeem the game on your account that you enter the giveaway with if you win.
Giveaway Rules: 1) Contestants will have 3 guesses for the day they are entering. We will start off with DAY 1 and I will make a post for each day. If more than 1 contestants guess the correct game release on that particular day they will get put into a random drawing and the winner will be picked randomly. If 10 people guess it then 10 people will be in the drawing for the game.
2) To help me organize better you can put
DAY X GUESSES(this word is optional) and have your 3 guesses below like so.
DAY 1 Game 1
Game 2
Game 3
3) If you want to participate in each day of the event then you will need to make a post for each day. Keep an eye out for my post, it will look something like this.
DAY 1 ENTRIES BELOW DAY 2 ENTRIES BELOW
DAY X ENTRIES BELOW Then you will post your entries after my post for that particular day. The reason why I format it this way is because I think it will help me organize the giveaway better. Also remember if you win then you don't need to make anymore entries for the following days. You can do it for fun but I will not count it for the giveaway. If you end up continuing posting for the other days and end up getting half or more correct, I may reach out and give you a bonus game after the event, no guarantees and it is up to me to decide.
The drawing will be made the day of the game release and the winner will be pick the same day. No set time but within the day unless something happens. I will announce the winners for organizing purposing.
I am making this thread early to set up and give contestants time to guess starting with Day 1. It requires contestants to be somewhat active for the giveaway duration. I will make a new post for each day. I will let everyone know the cutoff time each day which will be 12-24 hours or so before the next day game reveal. If I do this correctly then it should give contestants enough time to post their entries for each day if they can log in once within a 12-24 hour timeframe.
For Day 1, It will be a bit tricky because I am not 100% sure when the start of the event will be. I will be a bit more lenient on the entries for Day 1 and may let everyone entering be on the drawing for that game. For Day 2 and moving forward I will be more strict with the cutoff time.
Hopefully this will help spice up the GOG 18th Anniversary a bit. If not then this is just something I wanted to do and try out.
I hold the right to make changes if necessary.
If for some reason there is no GOG 18th Anniversary this year (hopefully this won't be the case) then this giveaway will be voided.
Good Luck to Everyone Participating.

Day 7 Result: November 3rd 2026 --- Congratulations to gogtrial34987 for guessing Project Afterfall. No one else guess it for the day. Also no one else guess the other games that was going to release for the day.
Day 8 (Final Day) November 4th 2026 --- Congratulations to JUSTCORNN for guessing Abashed. It seem like GOG has a showcase on November 5th that contains a lot of new games. Maybe I would do a part 2 after I see the games reveal for that showcase.
My thoughts on GOG 18th anniversary at least for part 1 was a bit underwhelming. Hopefully the showcase will make up for it. To Be Continued.
