Lost Horizon 2

No no no no

Pros: - Nice background graphics - Right-click to show hotspots is a welcomed addition Cons: - EVERYTHING ELSE (Bad dialogues, bad cinematics, badly executed story, nonsensical puzzles, trial-and-error puzzles, this was a frustrating experience)

Apocalipsis: Wormwood Edition

Grotesque Amanita

If you like Amanita's games and what you see in the screenshots, you're gonna enjoy this. A bit on the short side to finish, so get it on discount. DLC is even shorter, has even more gorgeous graphics, but could benefit from a hotspot indicator.

Secret Files: Sam Peters

Maybe it is...

...good BECAUSE it is small. - It doesn't have the time to get tedious and tiresome as it's predecessors sometimes did. - If you are going to play said predecessors (Secret Files 1, 2, & 3) play this after finishing 2 or 3, and not before, as the sart of this game picks up around (and thus spoils) the ending of Secret Files 2. - Graphics on par (maybe better even) with the rest of Secret Files games - Voice acting is notably improved - Only on discount. P.S. - Has two endings. if you want to see them both, save your game ... ***SPOILERS*** before helping Herr Doctor in the caves. ***END OF SPOILERS***

Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis

Only on (great) discount

- Bad dialogue (dont know if it is a matter of translation or not) and voice acting. - "Humor" and puzzle design would maybe fit better with a more cartoony graphics. The current design does not match at all with aforementioned "humor" and puzzle solutions. - Nice hint system - Passable ending, no clif-fhanger or meta crap. Could have been better, get on heavy discount only

Secret Files: Tunguska

Full screen broken

When launched either from GOG Galaxy or from download, the "full screen" is a tiny window in the center of the screen, with black backdrop

realMyst: Masterpiece Edition

"Plain" RealMyst is better

Really, the "Masterpiece edition" manages to make aspects of the game worse. Imho the "original" RealMyst is a better experience. One star for the legacy of Myst (a cornerstone in gaming history), and one star for the very few things that this edition managed to improve.

NO ENDING

Ron Gilbert, enough with the non-endings! Either seek help form associates in order to write an ending-ending, or stop making games to avoid ruining your legendary status in your field.
