Cute Witcher Flavored Time Waster

If you are already familiar with the Reigns series, you know what to expect. If not, this is a very simple 'this or that' type of choose your own adventure experience. Can be fun for a few hours here and there, but don't go looking for deep substance.

Barebones, but still fun!

This feels slightly undercooked and there is no comparison to the masterful Thronebreaker, but it's still several hours of good fun for Gwent sickos. I started playing back when it came out, with very high expectations and I uninstalled it almost immediately. Coming back years later, with the bar significantly lower, I find myself having a lot of fun with this!

Phantom Liberty Is A Phenomenal Comeback

I had played C2077 on release and was bitterly disappointed. It was not the trainwreck everyone purported it to be, but rather, a solid 7/10 RPG when the hype and expectations had me expecting a 12/10 masterpiece. I ignored Phantom Liberty on release, ignored Edgerunners, considered CDPR pretty much finished after that botched launch. Time did its thing though and on a whim and a good -35% discount, I figured I'd pick Phantom Liberty up to see what all the fuss was about. And boy, was I glad I did. CDPR has achieved the almost impossible. With Phantom Liberty and the changes post v.2.0, they have delivered an incredible Cyberpunk fever dream action RPG that William Gibson would be damn proud of. Very solid 9.5/10 game in its current state. I thought I'd only play to beat the masterful Phantom Liberty campaign but I just can't get enough. I'm back in Night City, farming Gigs and Hustles like it's early '21 and the world is right again.
