BLOK Demo

Great atmospheric horror!

Really decent demo! Even though grabbing and throwing objects wasn't available in that version, it was really cool to explore the area and solve puzzles. The chase in the end was quite hard to control to my taste, it rather pisses you off than challenges you, I stuck there. It has a nice environment setting, however it's mostly anti-nostalgic than welcoming 90s feel :)

HROT Demo

Great Q-like shooter!

Great demo and I really enjoyed it! It was super challenging to crawl though so I sometimes ran on really low heath, heartbeat makes it extra scary, smart enemies as well :)

Bloodshed

If you like retro shooters

If you like retro shooters like Blood or Shadow Warrior you might enjoy this game too! With a nice rouge-like twist. It has a lot of humour, great characters and huge variety of different enemies. Actually auto-shooting turned out to be a really fun feature, so I played whole game using it. And of course, it was super fun to hunt all achievements!

Blake Stone: Planet Strike

It brings nice memories :)

Blake Stone was my first intro to a wonderful world of PC games. I loved its bright levels, cute monster designs (Alien Pod is my fav) and wall secrets with enemies hiding behind. Well, back in the days I didn't know how to change weapon (nah, who reads those manuals) and I had to run past turrets or try to keep assault rifle and skip picking new weapons :D Planet Strike is quite short but I enjoyed it anyway after more than 30 years :)

Armikrog

Awesome and I wish GOG could maintain it

The game is very fun however puzzles are much simpler in comparison to Neverhood. It's buggy but in most cases it's either async or music drop after cut scenes and such. Restart helps actually. I played it on "M" mac with Rosetta installed so I'm glad it still runs. Since it's made with Unity I wanna believe it's easy to fix or patch. I really wish GOG could release Neverhood + Armikrog collection anytime soon in Game Preservation program. Pleeeease! UPD: Hooray, Armikrog is already a part of Game Preservation!
