ByYiro: If I'm not wrong, the gogger you argued with has clearly stated that he won't chase any artist that claimed their art to be human, he just said that he don't trust the claim at all in this particular case, but that it was his particular, personal opinion. You just cared too much about his particular, personal opinion. I defend the credit to be in every place the art is visible.

Ex7BD: No, the other Gogger i discussed with was not Zoidberg, it was with another fellow Gogger on Discord!!!
Where i presented a possible reason for why there are no credits!
Its funny because we all have are on the same page, am not just expressing myself correctly.

Nor was i implying or ever implied that he would do that!
I know, that gogger was me ;)
Oh, no! I was wrong, I thought you were a different person. I'm sorry!

Yeah, I was wrong. You said very similar things... And it was very recent! Sorry!

No worries, at least we all 3 got a laugh out of it! ;)
Chop Goblins is only $2. I encourage people to take a look at it, as I encouraged DUSKDev / David to bring it here on Xitter some time ago. Do note that it is very short.

Also, Remorse: The List is $3.

Pajama Sam Vol. 1 is $7 (I know it's a bit pricier.)

Happy 18th Birthday GOG!
This year has already been amazing thanks, as an example, to Final Fantasy releases.
Hope that the trend will continue :) especially with FFX/FFX-2!
Just noticed that the anniveresary banner doesn't only look unusually nice, but also is sort of interactive. Nice one! :)
Happy birthday GOG!
According to Polish law, you’re allowed to have a drink now. So, when’s the party?
Happy birthday gog!

ReynardFox: No Nier? Really?

tfishell: CONTROL Resonant is a big deal, but I feel similarly. Like, what is the hold-up? Square expecting a minimum amount of money to be made from games already here, or what?
They probably can't decide how to handle ending E and the devs might be opposed to GOG's ideas.

Or it was never signed. A decade ago they had discovered Assassin's Creed 2 and we never got that in the end. Wuchang has had Galaxy files in its Steam build for a year, but we never got it either. Technical preparation does not always lead to releases.

GOG adding the Niers to the GOG Picks section of the Dreamlist made me assume they wanted people to vote so the people would be notified when the games released, but maybe not.

I have long assumed that GOG picks were strategic too, but Piran Jade insisted very heavily that those are nothing more than staff top picks. Nothing strategic about it.

I dunno, there have been a number of games added that showed up here more or less a few months later, like Doom Eternal, Tomb Raider Rise, The Midnight Walk, now Over The Hill is coming, and surely others. Now those may still be staff's top picks that they genuinely want here, but that still strikes me as "strategic". Still, maybe the Niers really haven't actually been signed.

Edit: Sea of Stars and Carmageddon: Rogue Shit are two more examples.

I'd say the same thing if I didn't want people to discover that those picks are, indeed, already signed and coming to GOG, so there's no need to vote for them :P

Ex7BD: ?

You may misread me, or maybe i was not clear in making my view: the "kneejerk" part was about making acusations against an artist that arent true based on "gut" feelings.

This behaviour seems to inhibit artists getting due credit as the first response is generally becoming attacking the artist.

The kneejerk part was not about asking for artists getting credited for their work (and not about you/your post) was just sharing my perception on this topic.

You are aware of the running joke/bet on how long (how many pages in the forum) it takes for, at least one person, to be absolute certain that the art was made by AI? = thats how prevalent the issue has become, hence my observation above that i understand why some images have no credits.

Oh, OK I think I understand your point a bit better. I, too, advocate for crediting everywhere and in my eyes, not crediting was a double issue:
1 Because you have to credit the piece of work you are using
2 If you don't it may be because it is generated slop (which is even worse)

Avoiding 2 by doing 1 is the only logical way, at least to me.
An artisqt having a "sloplike" style is not necessarily bad, after all this awful tech does depend on the gluttonnous absorption of people's work, a style is destined to be most represented because of the aggregation of different styles.
